Your tour begins with a convenient early-morning pickup from your hotel, residence, airport, or another preferred location in Delhi. Meet your professional driver and begin the journey towards Agra by private, air-conditioned vehicle.

The drive takes you through the Yamuna Expressway/major road network towards Agra. You can enjoy a comfortable journey with optional breaks along the way for refreshments, breakfast, or a short rest.

As you approach Agra, continue towards the Keetham/Runakta area, where the Wildlife SOS Agra Bear Rescue Facility is located inside the Soor Sarovar Bird Sanctuary.

Arrive at the Agra Bear Rescue Facility and complete the visitor check-in process.

The facility is located at Soor Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, Keetham, Runkata, Agra. The surrounding sanctuary is also a Ramsar wetland and provides an important habitat for resident and migratory birds.

Your visit should be arranged in advance with Wildlife SOS, as bear-facility visits require prior booking.

Begin your guided conservation experience with the Wildlife SOS team.

During the approximately 120-minute Conservation Tour, learn about the rescue and rehabilitation of sloth bears and the history of the dancing-bear practice in India. You can observe the bears' natural behaviours, including feeding, playing, and interacting with enrichment activities.

The experience also provides insight into the centre's veterinary and rehabilitation work. Rescued bears undergo health assessments and rehabilitation before being placed into suitable social groups and larger enclosures.

Important: This is an ethical wildlife experience. Visitors do not have direct physical contact with the bears; the animals are observed safely from designated areas.

After the main guided tour, spend additional time understanding Wildlife SOS's conservation work and the individual stories of rescued bears.

You can take photographs where permitted by the centre and discuss questions with the conservation team. The focus is on learning about animal welfare rather than entertainment or direct interaction.

After completing your Wildlife SOS experience, continue towards the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of India's most iconic monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Explore the beautiful white-marble monument built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Walk through the impressive entrance, landscaped Mughal gardens, and surrounding complex while admiring the intricate marble inlay work and architectural details.

Take time to capture memorable photographs of the Taj Mahal and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Your driver will assist with the local transfer and parking arrangements.

Note: Taj Mahal entry tickets should be arranged in advance where possible. The monument is generally closed to visitors on Fridays.

After visiting the Taj Mahal, meet your driver and begin the return journey to Delhi.
